Robert Stears is a professional with more than three decades of experience in government relations, public policy, and strategic advisory work. Over the course of his career, Robert Stears has worked in health care, transportation, education, and nonprofit organizations. He has a track record of navigating complex legislative environments, building effective coalitions, and delivering results-driven advocacy campaigns.
Robert Stears began his career as founder and partner of The Strategy Group, LLC, where he led legislative and regulatory initiatives on behalf of a diverse client base that included healthcare facilities, labor unions, trade associations, and consumer product companies. In this role, he monitored policy developments, engaged with legislators and stakeholders, and designed targeted advocacy strategies.
From 2016 to 2020, Mr. Stears served as a welcome ambassador in the emergency department at Bayshore Community Hospital. He supported the patient experience by working closely with medical staff and assisting patients and families during critical moments.
In 2020, he started working as a strategic advisor. In this work, he collaborates with healthcare nonprofits to advocate for organ donation and transplant initiatives.
